Dr. Jackson graduated from Richland High School in Ft. Worth, Texas and attended the University of Texas at Arlington, receiving his Bachelor's of Science degree in Biology with a chemistry minor. After graduating in 1974, he was accepted into the dental program at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. He graduated in 1977 with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. He started practice in Arlington, Texas that same year. He is a member of many dental organizations, all of which have special interest in toxic free, wellness centered dentistry and continuing education. Dr. Jackson has earned an accreditation and Fellowship from the IAOMT. He serves on the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee of the IAOMT as an executive Vice President and is Chairman of the Jawbone Pathology Committee. In 2008, he addressed the annual meeting of the IAOMT on the topics of Jawbone Pathology and Bisphosphonate-Induced Ostenecrosis. He has been privileged to lecture at Parker College of Chiropractic Medicine for the past several years and many civic and professional meetings on the topics of computerized and alternative dentistry.
Dr. Jackson also attended and graduated class Valedictorian from Capital University of Integrative Medicine in 2000 with a Doctorate of Integrative Medicine-Dentistry. From that educational experience, he learned to appreciate all forms of healing disciplines ranging from Allopathic Medicine, Nutrition, Manipulation and Physical Therapy, Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture, Homeopathy, Ayurvedic medicine, Energy medicine, and many other alternative healing techniques. When indicated, referrals are made to complementary medical providers experienced in these alternative therapies. Dr. Jackson, FIAOMT (fellow of the Internal Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology) is also a contributing member of Citizens for Dental Choice, a non-profit organization that seeks to allow patients to choose the types of dental treatments they desire and balance the political playing field for alternative practitioners.

Dr. Jackson is married to Sharon, a dental assistant and office manager, and together they have three sons-Craig, Micah, and Aaron, and two grandchildren, Christin and Matthew, with a third to be born in August 2008. As a private pilot, he enjoys aviation as well as golf, fishing and boating, track and field, reading, dogs, and family time. He relaxes in the peace and harmony of home and the lake with Sharon, family and friends. His immediate future goal is to continue working to further alternative healing and his retirement goal is to further his skills as a sculptor.
